Christ does come to those who sin, which is why they bother to seek Him. He calls them to Himself to remind them to stop sinning. It is only by His Holy Will that any one of us chooses to serve Him. He calls, we come. That's why some serve and others do not. He calls whom He chooses. He is God , we are nothing.
He has appeared to a great many people who follow and worship Him throughout history. This has been documented a lot. However for one to have true faith, one need not be shown proofs. If you need to be shown proof then you are lacking in faith. If you believe He is present with you then He is. I happen to know that He is present even when you don't realize He is there. I believe that He chooses to not appear to you at this time because He is trying to help you grow in faith and desire. He loves your desire for Him. Give Him more of your desire and He will draw ever closer to you! Though He may still not choose to appear, He is right beside you always! Let you heart burn with ardent flames of desire to see His Holy Face. Give to Him the love and desire that you are so very good at. This is what He wants from you.
One reason Our Lord sometimes chooses to appear to those who do not "care" about Him is to show His Mighty Kingship. The people to whom He appears, most usually, convert and are healed of various personal issues. This is a demonstration of His Mighty will. Other people around the "visionary" see the changes in that person and are thereby touched by His Holy Spirit and a fire is ignited in their hearts too.
Please also realize that many "visionary's", after being given the gift of sight, also see demons and the icky stuff too (scary). The gift of sight is not selective, it's either off or on.
You should not be jealous or envoius of those that get to see Him. This is not because they are special, it's because it is necessary. His reasons are not necessary for you to know or understand. It is only necessary that you accept that He is King, you are servant, and this is what He chooses. It is only for you to have faith, serve and obey.
Perhaps He has even bigger gifts for you than that, ask for His Will to be done in you!
