Why is sexism against men being overlooked?

I know that sexism against women is bigger, but sexism against men is not too far off and is being way overlooked. For example 93% percent of women get custody of kids in divorces.

Many Parents that are men really are the best of the two for maintaining custody.
Lots of women with custody want it both ways: they want to be a free spirit, but also want that child support check for themselves only. When you see single moms dressed to the 9's for the sake of being stylish, they did that by feeding baloney sandwiches and peanut butter to the kids while skipping the clearance and sales racks.
They should have spent the money on the kids only. This has been common practice for many years, as I see it, lets correct it for the sake of the kids and the better (dad) parent.

The answer is probably the same as the reasons why people fear sharks yet dogs are man's best friend. There are only about 10-20 attacks by sharks each year while during that time according to the CDC.gov: "over 800,000 Americans seek medical attention for dog bites; half of these are children. Of those injured, 386,000 require treatment in an emergency department and about a dozen die."

Also, why is skydiving viewed as extreme and dangerous when less than a hundredth of one percent of all civilian jumps each year result in death, about 6-9 deaths total but twice as many children will die from playground accidents?

I have an answer but it is so cliche and so cynical: money.

Probably the same reason racism against whites is commonly overlooked. People feel like they need to discriminate against the people who have historically had it good to even the playing field. It's a lot more common in America thanks to our history of civil rights activism. It'll eventually die like it has in other civilized nations.

There are actually men's group s that address that very issue. Wish it had been so during my childhood, my life would have been so much better with Dad than Mom. She got custody only due to being Mom not at all due to her ability.

It isn't being overlooked everywhere. There was a guy at work who got patted on the butt by a woman and he told her, "I'll give you just half an hour to stop that."

93% of women get kids in custody battles because most men don't want the responsibility. Even in this day and age, women still handle 70% or more of the child rearing responsibilities. Case en pointe: last year, my best friend's husband cheated so they divorced. She wanted NOTHING from him - she just wanted to move on with her life. He asked for joint custody, she agreed. After 7 months of shared parenting, he decided that raising kids was too hard and it was cramping his dating life. He decided it was MUCH EASIER to handover childsupport than to actually be involved in raising them. I do realize that there are some evil women out there bent on destroying their exes but they are not in the majority - as compared to the sexism women face in every day situations. Sexism against men is NOT an epidemic at all.
