Death is extinction, end of Life, destruction. These are according to the context result of death. Any thing born whether animate or inanimate has an end that is the law of nature and death. Life after death is a belief on the basis of available information and logic. Many Prophets and Sages have spent their entire life to untie this knot called "Who am I" and could not conclude decisively. Each person should find the answer himself/herself.

Fear is not in the present, it is the result of mind engaging itself in the future on the basis of past creating apprehensions. Live in the present only, then there is no fear. Take life as it comes, there is no fear. The Hindu scripture " Bhagavad Gita" deals with this subject elaborately.

Life continues because life is in the spirit, not the body. The body is only housing for the spirit. We fear death because we don't know what happens when that time comes, but all is well. It's a beautiful place with plenty of people you already know and love to greet you, and there is greater knowledge and understanding outside the limits of the body and the world. Those who have had an opportunity to die and then be brought back have only wonderful things to say about our next phase.

Why do we need to fear death and be apprehensive about it in our mind when it is unavoidable? I believe that what we are actually afraid is what will happen after our death. Heaven or hell? It will be for all eternity and each and every one us has to choose; so choose wisely. God bless us all!

Scientific study of the afterlife is impossible because the only repeatable experiment that would prove the hypothesis "humans continue to have conscious experiences after death" is to kill a human, wait a while, then bring that human back to life for questioning. Since death is (by definition) a permanent state, if a person can be "brought back to life" after being "killed", then they never experienced death in the first place, making the after life experiences impossible.

The only reason some people fear death and the unknown is because they are not saved by the grace of God. Those who don't know Christ as their Lord and Savior will always question whether there is life after this. The bible is the source to turn to for answers to questions about life after death. You'll either spend eternity in heaven or hell - no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Death, it is the Greatest Adventure of all. Sadly you have to Die to know what it is.

The Source of Consciousness is A Mystery, it isn't the Brain, or the nervous system, The Brain is a Relay center, the Nervous system the Transmitters.

So, If we cannot connect the Conscious thought to our Bodies, It must be A soul, Which means that something lives on.

I Myself Expect allot out of Death, though it will be some time before i meet it, it better not let me down.

Plus, Its better to Believe in God, Afterlife, Or whatever and be Wrong, then to Curse God, The Afterlife and whatever, and find out that he's Ticked at you, Eh?

Death - the end of this physical life as we know it.

Yes the Word tells us there is eternal life - this being in predetermined eternal destiny ....... opinion of man does not change history or the Word.

Acceptance or Rejection of God's Son is the determination of the eternal destiny of each of us.

John 3:16

of course there is life after death, death is when your soul leaves your body, being taken by the angel of death..then God takes the soul what happens between death and the Resurrection to the soul no body know.. who tell you that he know he's lying for sure..but God has explained some of what happens to the body, it got eaten buy bacteria till it's dust.." from dust to dust " we hear this sentence in both Islam and christian.
the soul stays for being judged, then spending eternity in heave or hell
