if you're using Internet Explorer, click the Favorites button on the top (it has a star by it). then click the Add button.

if you're trying to make it your home page, click Tools/ Internet Options, then type in the address of the new home page you want.

If you are asking how to set a "favorite" (also called a bookmark), simply go to the page, and in IE6 click on favorites and then "add favorites". In IE7 click on the Star with a Plus icon. Either will add a favorite for the page.

But I think you are actually referring to the "home page", which is the page first displayed when you open IE. Go to the page you want. Click on Tools in the menu. Select Internet Options. On the General page is a box near that top that shows your home page. Click the button on it that says "Use Current". The page you are on is now your home page.

If you have Explorer 7, click on the green plus sign that is partially covering a gold star. If not, go to favorites and click on add.

Depends on the browser you are using. I am assuming you mean how to set the default home page? - it will be in the Menubar around the Tools, options area, in the main tab labelled home page, just enter the url address here.
