Disney's Christmas Day Parade takes place on the 25th of December, Christmas Day. I watched it this morning at 10:00. It was so wonderful as always. I love when they do the breaks and show different parts of the Resort. I am such a fan of Walt Disney World, I was crying at this one part when they had WDW Cast Members talking about how it makes them cry to make someone's wish come true. Anyway, it was hosted by Regis and Kelly at Walt Disney World, of course, and Ryan Seacrest helped host from Disneyland in California.
Merry Christmas!

The Christmas parade starts a few weeks before Christmas and usually ends around New Years Day. It is everyday at 3 PM.
They do tape the parade ahead of time, but they only play that tape as back up in case it is rainy or cloudy on Christmas Day.
The parade is usually only about 45 minutes long, but on Christmas Day they stretch it out for 2 hours to accomodate commercials, the chit chat between the hosts, and whatever else they add...do they still have a message from the President at some point during the show?

The parade from Walt DIsney World that they show on TV on Christmas Day is actually taped a couple of weeks in advance. WDW does have a daily parade at 3, and they may have a special parade during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

ABC is broadcasting a parade from Disney World on Christmas day at 10am eastern time. It's the one that Regis and Kelly host, but this year Ryan Seacrest is on it also.
