First, free spyware stuff, Adaware, Windows Defender, and Spybot. Anti virus freeware, AVAST, or AVG. I brought Spyware Doctor, it has done the best in reviews for finding and removing nasty spyware. I have Kaspersky's anti virus, it auto updates the virus definitions 3 times a day. Try downloading and running the antivirus free stuff, see if that gets rid of the trojan. Let's say you can't. The only thing I can think of is to do a System Restore back to a date like sometime last week when you didn' t have it. Click on Start, then All Programs, chooses Accessories, and System Restore should be the last entry under System Tools. It has a easy walk through wizard. XP periodically takes snapshots of good configurations, it might save your bacon. Best of luck

Advast is good or AVG. it checks all your mail as it comes in and as it leaves your computer. I have both of them on my computer. Never had a problem. They are both free for home use.
