Its used to "program" the ds where the edges of the screen are, so that when you press the screen in a location, it sends the right data to be processed. All touch screen products generaly need this to be done.

To pre-set the screen margins...not really ......it calibrates the radar so you can see how fast it is going when you throw it out the window because you can't figure it out ........and you call yourself the "master"!!!!!
