why do Christians believe Jesus is God?
the bible clearly calls him the "son of man", "a man", and the SON of God"
it also clearly says God is not a man, nor the son of man

It doesn't really matter what you ask - they're not picky about what they argue over. I'd once posted a long, but extremely silly What If question just to be, well, silly, and someone reported it and the question got removed by the Yahoo! staff as a result, but questioning the existance of God and whether Jesus was a human man who was married or not will get the believers riled up, saying that you pity nonbelievers or think they're less than intelligent for not believing in God will get the nonbelievers going, and (best of all, in my mind) if you express regret that no one seems to get along in that category due to lack of trying or whatever, you'll get all of them agreeing with you and giving excuses for those of the opposite belief of them. ("Believers are too narrow-minded and brainwashed" or "Nonbelievers are lost and scared so they can't help it.", for example).
Well, anyway, have at it! It's one of my favorite categories because it's always good for a laugh.

If you're looking for instigation, anything said regarding the bible will get quoted by scripture- that's abundant. I won't say anymore on this, as I bow down in respect for others' faiths.
