Great christmas movie. It gets us thinking that we have it better than we think.

It's a good period piece about the optimism of the USA after coming out of the depression and winning World War 2. It represents a high water mark of old America.

What I like about this movie is the lesson that it contains.
We all feel a one time or another that we don't matter.
Yet, as the movie showed, we really don't understand the impact that we have on others lives.

It's on TV in the other room right now. There are other Christmas movies I like better.

As it has been shown every year for the past twenty or so it is a bit over done and as such indicates the lack of good contemporary storytellers!
