How many elementry school teachers do you remember?

I had 6 and only remember the names of about 4 of them.

How ever you want to take it Dharma, I graduated high school in 1976.

Thanks, I've been trying to remember my childhood, and that helped.

Only one now, Mrs. Estes.

I corrected her math in the fourth grade on parents visitation day, and when everyone else went to lunch, she slapped me around and locked me in a locker.

That may have something to do with why I don't remember my childhood.

I went to a very small elementry school. There were only 6 students in my grade including me. Each teacher had 2 grades in the same room & would teach for an hour or so with one, then switch to the other.
I remember all 4 teachers, the cook, janitor, and a couple of the bus drivers.

3rd: Sister Catherine
4th: Miss Brady
5th: Miss Hocevar

Lets see, Sister Dorhwella, Sister Ann Lucia, Sister Mary Josephine, and Sister Mary Elephant....Oh wait that was Chech and Chongs Teacher! We did have a Nun in our School who did have Elephantiasis in one of her legs. I went to a public elementary school for only one year, there was a teacher by the name of Mr. Adams. I was impressed by him cause in Catholic School there were only Nun's, no male Teachers. That was 22+yrs ago.

I remember 3. I've seen my 4th grade teacher a few times because she goes to a church nearby.

Sadly, my 6th grade teacher died from cancer a year or 2 after I left elementary school.

I only remember 3 names I am sure I had many more, but only three made a lasting impression.
