By law any store that advertises open 24 hours has to be open on Christmas...
So unless your local" big box store " is scheduled 24 hours it will b closed on Christmas Day. BTW..buying a gift ON Christmas Day is worse than picking up a gift at 7-eleven!!

Malls, department stores, and places like Target and Wal-Mart all usually close around 6PM Christmas Eve and open back up the day after Christmas with huge sales. Most grocery stores are also close. A few may be open, along with some convenience stores.

My local Wal-Mart is open. The big-chain grocery stores (I live in the South so I won't go into names since I don't know where you are from) are open until about 4:00 pm-ish; Target in my neck of the woods is closed. On a side note, Blockbuster is open!

That is not true! All the wal-marts and targets are closed by me, even the 24 hour ones. The only store I know that is open is Walgreens.

i just called them 3 times and got no answer at all and this is a 24 hour wal mart here in wooster
