Well the obvious answer is to save up and buy it with cash, but there are other options.
You could consider putting it on a credit card you already have
Additionally, you could take your car title into a title-loan shop, they'll give you enough for at least a low end laptop.
Alternatively you could refinance your house. If you rent, consider pawning some of the furniture that came with the place- or put ads to sell the refiridgerator/washing machine/stove your landlord provided on craigslist.com
If you can save up a little money, take it to the boat and go for high-risk bets, and see if you can win enough for a laptop in one throw of the dice/spin of the wheel.
If you REALLY need a laptop, you can look up plasma donation centers on google. If you live in a city chances are there are about three donation centers, and you can hit them each twice a week if you play it right. You typically get $15-25 each time they stick you, so after about 6 months you should have enough to buy the fanciest laptop ever.
Theres lots of ways to get a laptop if you think about it- especially if you're female of have control of one ;)

Ok well it depends on your credit score and how much the laptop is it might be because it was an expensvie laptop. You could try to get a loan from the bank. Or you could save up and buy one when you have the money.

Dear Richard
You could purchase from Court with a low monthly repayment scheme. Another way is to seek government's help to get a laptop - recently there is a scheme helping low income family to get one.
By the way, the above only applicable to Singaporean. (Not sure whether PR is eligible)

Get a job and pay your bills on time. That will pretty much guarantee that you can buy whatever you want. Hmmm... what a concept... working hard and paying your debts. Astounding.
