I try to play the game, its fine for a few minuites then the screen either freezes, goes into a pinkish purple screen *lol* , or goes black. also, when it freezes the lights on the console flash red. this only happens with gears of war, dead rising, madden, oblivion all work fine. we might take it back but im not sure if its the game or somthing else. (i bought gears of war new, scratchless)

guys, the xbox isnt going to die because all of my other games work perfectly, no problem, no red light. gears of war on the other hand, makes it go red.

It is the console. The red lights mean it is about to die soon. I would return it if you can.

If the light turns read does it say call support with some kinda diffrent language or anything or if your disk isnt working try cleaning it or use a cd cleaner and try cleaning the xbox
