At all? Like should philosphy classes be a part of schools teachings earlyer on instead of just in college and as an elective? I would think teaching people how to think should be a main goal of school and philosphy is basicaly just that.

I think it would be good,
but they would need to accept the Bible.
thats the only place you will find the truth about " Love & Truth"

If you can define love and truth, then have fun! Character education is providing the child a holistic approach to formulation ethical boundries. Each school district is unique as well as every schools needs. Try to teach a starving child that love will feed the need. Schools need to focus on reading, and math skills in order to provide each child with a future. Love and truth are to speculative to be taught as a subject in schools where abstract concepts are challenging enough

Character education is now being taught even in primary grades. Students are learning about responsibility, respect, honesty and all that good stuff but teachers can only do do so much. It should be the parents who also reinforce these ideas at home to bring up independent thinkers who know how to make good decisions.
