Well if I had to say Kobe because he can score better than Arenas can. Kobe is better if you want stats. Also that and he can take the last shot. Arenas is crappier than Kobe at 3's. Also if the Lakers didn't have Kobe for the amount of time the Wiz didn't have Arenas the Lakers wouldn't even get in the Finals or the playoffs. But without Arenas the Wiz still got in the playoffs. If you're thinking i'm a Lakers fan well I'ma Celtics and Heat fan.

i would say gilbert arenas because he is much more of team player. kobe is not at all a team player and essentially ruined the lakers when he ran shaq out of town which i dont hink arenas would do. sure kobe dropped 81 but he didnt pass the whole game, where arenas hit for 60 and his team vs. his own stats benifited. I would not take kobe on my team beccause he is a bad person to have around and can't play well with other good players

Gilbert all the way. Better all around player. Maybe can't create his own shot with the same ease as Kobe, but as an all around guy, he's got Kobe beat. Remember, basketball is way more than scoring. Playing defense...both team and individual defense, passing, and making the guys around you better also must be factored in.

That is a real hard question. Kobe has proven himself but at times hes the best player in the league but other times hes real down. On the other hand, Gilbert distributes the ball well and may be the most underrated player in the NBA. Gilbert is more consistent and I'd take Gilbert.

Gilbert Arenas seems like a nicer guy. And man can he shoot that 3. I watched the game against the Rockets where he made about 7 3s. He's going to get better while Kobe can't get any better.

Kobe is way better. arenas is just a scoring point guard. kobe can do everything well and kobe's skills are just more developed. Arenas is still young and may get better but he is not an all-around player. Kobe also has 3 rings, nuff said.

Arenas has more points, more assists, and more steals but Kobe is winning more games so i pick Kobe
