It is 116 not 216 !!!
You have to do the 8x2 first =16
THEN do the additions +9+11+80 = 116
try it on a calculator like this:
9+11+80+8x2= 116!!!!!!!
If you use brackets (9+11+80+8)x2 then and only then is the answer 216!!!

You do the multiplication FIRST!!!
So 8 x 2 =16
Then do addition!
16+80+11+9 = 116
