umm...Treating Acne Pimples
There are four different types of acne:
Comedonal (blackheads and whiteheads)
Papular (red bumps)
Pustular (red bumps with puss on top)
Cystic, which are those usually deep cysts, which can scar, or small cysts, which usually don't scar.
Eliminating pimples has been the goal of acne treatment. Acne is pustular eruptions, localized abscessed formation and local inflammatory conditions of the dermis and epidermis skin layers. Endogenous hormones (mainly androgens), which are present in unusually high concentrations in the blood during adolescence and puberty give rise to an excessive production of sebum (or oil). The condition may worsen by a simultaneous increase in the rate of keratin in the skin's outer layer that causes skin cell death. As the outer layer cells proliferate, they can form an occlusive plug or comedone which coupled with the increased production of the sebum, represents an ideal medium for the proliferation of the skin resident anaerobic bacterium, P. acnes .

Soap ! Simple as that. Look at all the answers you have here . Its a simple matter of washing your face. No matter what you use or buy you are still cleaning your face... A non perfumed soap and regular cleaning. Soap dries your skin and gets rid of the oil, Use a moist thingy if need to refresh your self. really its that easy ! ask a doctor they will tell you the same thing !

Noxema or Clean and Clear 2 step program...it comes with the face wash and moisterizer..the noxema is like 4 dollars and the clean and clear is like 7 (at Wal Mart)..And the Noxema gives your skin a cool feel and makes you 'glow' haha. good luck
The toothpaste thing was tested on tv (i saw it last month) and it doesnt help at all..youll just smell minty...if you want to dry it out use alcohol..but thats harsh!

my kids used the regular Listerine on their face, it kills germs that cause the pimples, use it 1 to 2 times daily, put it on with a washcloth all over your face, in the am and pm it feels fresh too!

The use of good old soap and water is cheap and works, especially if you use it twice a day.

Toothpaste. Put a tiny dab on the spot, it should help it dry up.
