nobody knows but the real question at hand is does there behavior regarding nukes warrant going to war with this proud, brash and increasingly dangerous nation. the american public is puzzled why places like north korea, pakistan etc. spend so much scare resources on horror after seeing what happened during the half-century-long cold war. what motivates them? some say their hatred for the u.s. who has a mountain of nukes make them believe they need them. if we wait will they accumulate enough plus rocket technology to have a devastating ability to attack the u.s. should the u.s. wait until they are absolutely sure? wait? wait? we could wait until we hear the big Kaboom! What to do? Nobody knows. Wait or not? The world waited on Hitler despite all the evidence of massive military buildup. They waited and waited. Hitler didn't have nukes. He would have used them . and he was working on that ability. Iran's leaders also point to their most hated enemy -- Israel. U.s. has equipped Israel with nukes, rockets etc. That is the thing in a nutshell. Odds are, Iran might attack Israel which wouldn't hit the u.s. per se. But politically the us would proably level everyting that Israel it self did not level Now we see why these contries want nukes. they don't trust antagonistic neighbors who have vastly superior armaments. It makes them a little edgy. They work to close the gap. when will it all blow up?

That'll be a dumb move. The American military will be stretched out too far, leading to a Draft, which will lead to rebellion/overthrowing of the government (if the soon-to-be-Democrat-controlled Congress would even allow an invasion of Iran or a Draft).
I've heard that Russia is giving Iran weapons. Do you really want to be at war with Russia and Putin (who's even more scarier)?

Not in the near future, no military capacity with the resource requirements and expense of the folly in Iraq and the rapidly deteriorating condition of Afghanistan.
At least not without extreme provocation and a draft.

not anytime soon, if things escalate then yes, if bush is still in power. No if democrats take power. I also believe we cant fight another war. We are already at Afghanistan and Iraq.
