What is the "deepest" song of theirs that really reaches down into your soul......yeah, we all love "another brick in the wall"....but there are some that are so "deep"......

I think my choice would have to be either...."Mother"....or Goodbye Blue Sky"....those two just absolutely stop me in my tracks....

Thank you all and Happy Holidays!!

The song "Time", probably reaches more than others. I often think about those lyrics when I'm in the car and it's on the radio. I remember hearing it when I was a teenager and thinking how it would be when "one day you find, 10 years had got behind you",....now I know. That whole song is really deep to me.

I actually think as far as Albums go, "The Wall" was and is an absolute masterpiece of music. The way all those songs compliment each other and the albums theme about the imprisonment of ego, from childhood through adulthood.

Echoes... it reminds me of a whole rollercoaster of a lifetime. Love found, love promised. It's one of the few love songs that I can think of that Pink Floyd wrote.

And who ever said that all of us like Another Brick in the Wall? Part one irritates me because of the whining Roger's dad scenario, part two is too brash and in-your-face compared to most of my favorite Floyd tunes, and part three... well, actually, I like part three.

Another one that touches me is Don't Leave Me Now. Poor desperate little wife beater. He finally gets what he deserves.

Atom Heart Mother suite is good, but a little weird and not something you would hear on the radio. Pigs from Animals, and Echoes from Meddle
