I want to have a Christmas baby.. I'm 39 weeks.. my doctor has already scraped my membranes to induce me..
What can I do to get this show on the road?
OH.. and is it still safe to have sex?

as an ob/gyn i'm gonna say it's perfectly safe to have sex. you could also try walking. maybe drinking herbal tea. just relax

Might be better to hope for a new years baby! :)
But if not then I would suggest walking, it really helps to bring the baby down and dialate you.
And Btw, I had sex in the morning and that same day in the afternoon I went into labor and gave birth to a perfect little girl, so I am sure it is fine, it might even speed up the process.

Walk, walk, walk!! And have sex. Have lots of sex. My doctor told me with my first son that it helps the labor process a significant amount, so have at it and hope to see you with a Christmas baby!! Good luck!!

You can have sex until your water breaks!! I think if your child is meant to be born on Christmas then God will bring it forth...if not then you will just have to wait until your child is born!! Your baby will know when it is time for it to come out, trust me enjoy the peace and get some rest because you will be needing it real soon!!

sex will help induce labor and the sperm will eat away at the membraine and the amniatic sac.
