Some of us don't have any "special other," some of us are spending it with homophobic families/relatives because it's where we can spend winter break (mostly for students), some of us prefer to the bit solitude in a busy life, some of us live in small (and homophobic) towns, and some of us just have friends who have hooked up with other people and don't have time for us.

And if you are alone tonight, buck up; I'll think of you since I'm alone myself. Just "be strong, believe."

I'm not alone, my boyfriend is watching Mission Impossible III and I'm on here because I need some 'alone time' from him because we have been screwing like rabbits all day and I am worn out.

Dont' listen to the bigots that say alot of gay people are alone. Gay people are dipping into a smaller pool of other gay people so not everyone is going to hook up so fast, and also there are alot of alone people gay and straight - alot of people are traveling and gay people tend to do seperate holidays to keep the peace in their families and create less drama whereas the heteros often do things together. It's not a bad thing, just differences so don't be blue - you aren't alone. Merry Christmas Sweetpea!!

There are all kinds of people that are alone tonight. I am married and am alone. My husband is out at the bar celebrating Christmas with his friends, instead of here at home. Chin up!!

I'm not alone..I'm meeting friends for cocktails and a gift exchange this evening.

Tomorrow I gather with other friends to celebrate the birth of Christ and others I will see for dinner.

BTW: Robert T...stop the preaching. Only God decides who is immoral and or who isn't. Let's not try to do his job!

I'm sure there are more straight people alone tonight. Do the math. There are more straight people than gays and lesbians - so there are more lonely straights.
