I took a pregnancy test this moring, and I swear if I hold it at an angle and squint my eyes, I can see a faint positive line. Now I know everyone is going to say, weight a few days and take another test and/or go see a doctor. But I want know if anyone ever took a test that was this faint and what came of it.

i've used First response before very early in pregnancy and the line was very very faint, and I was doing the same thing you're describing :)
But after that I ran to the store- I was so excited! And I bought a couple more tests, all different brands, and they were all positive with faint lines. So I can say that I think yours is a positive line!
Good Luck!

did that line show up before 10 minutes? If so you may be pregnant if not that would be an evap line.
I have done that before looking so hard at a test that i would make myself believe that there was a positive line when they weren't.

The positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn't. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn't mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the "results" window, you're preg!

Depends, If you seen the line after the time in the directions allowed then no your not. If before there could be a pregnancy, could not be. I have had 2 very faint lines like that in the past and they have both turned out negative. Take a digital test. One that says pregnant or not pregnant. Much easier to read. Good luck to you and best wishes!

first response is the best it picked up both of my pregnancies early so yes the lines were very faint. The only way those tests even get lines faint or not is when it picks up HCG a pregnancy hormone. So yes it happened to me and I was pregnant both times Good Luck!

From what I know the pregnancy line will never be as dark as the other line. Even if the line is faint it means you're pregnant, as long as there is somewhat of a line at all. You might want to take another one just to make sure there really was a line. Good luck!!

Did you use Ept?
EPT is known for showing a faint line, but only when you hold it at an angle and really look for it.This happens mostly because it is picking up your LH surge, not the pregnancy hormone.
But you never know, maybe you are pregnant and dont have enough hcg for the test to detect.Just take another, you'll be fine.Good luck.

When I got pregnant for the first time, I had a really faint positive and the second test I took was negitive....But I was pregnant...I would never believe a home test becasue my sister at eight months pregnant took one because her friend said she thought the test she took was wrong and it said my sister WASN'T pregnant when she was...I would say go see a doctor that way you leave no room for dobut....and if in fact you are, you can start taking care of yourself to have a healthy baby!!

when I took my being pregnant attempt, the educational mentioned something alongside the lines of "Any 2d line, no rely how faint, is an outstanding". So certainly, confident, faint lines count selection. in case you prefer to substantiate, take yet another attempt in some days, your HCG stages would be larger and the line could desire to be darker.

if it has a faint pregnancy line you are pregnant, just have a low hcg count, in a few days this will increase and you would have a darker line.
