For Breakfast I like to cook my eggs so the yolk is runny. You know, cook it on one side and then the other and not break the yolk so in the middle it is raw I guess, but cooked,.......Just wondering, is that okay to do when pregnant?

I've ate runny eggs all my life and had three children and they eat them too. No one has ever had anything wrong with eating the eggs. I always make sure the white part is done around the yellow and I think at that temperature it must kill any salmonella or else I have been lucky.

1 in 10,000 eggs may have Salmonella- how long would it take you to eat 10,000 raw or semi-raw eggs?

If you don't like those odds (and I would not blame you in your condition), you can usually buy eggs that have been pasturized in the shell. They are a bit more expensive, but it would be worth it for you. (http://www.safeeggs.com)

You should ask your doc I don't think it is, but since you seem worried about it I would to be sure.
I know plenty of women who ate Med Rare steaks and Caesar salad and they are fine it is just a precaution.
