Are you sure what you are asking? On the subject of Metaphysics....Traditionally, metaphysics refers to the branch of philosophy that attempts to understand the fundamental nature of all reality, whether visible or invisible. It seeks a description so basic, so essentially simple, so all-inclusive that it applies to everything, whether divine or human or anything else. It attempts to tell what anything MUST BE LIKE IN ORDER TO BE AT ALL !!!! Thus, taking that into account, how can you be like in order to be at all? You must ask yourself that first. Briefly.. then.. I would say be yourself and if tdhat does not catch a girl, then that girl that you are after is not worth going after.

In a metaphysical sense, she already does like you in an infinite number of parallel universes. In this universe, your preception may be decieving you, and you and she may be together, married, a chimera, siamese twins, freinds from birth come lovers, anything. When you are not observing your relationship with her, it is a probability wave; therefore there is a chance that you are currently in an intimate relationship with her. Asking yourself what, exactly, is reality, your dreams and fantasies involving her can be interpreted as just as "real" as what we commonly percieve as reality in certain metaphysical fields.

Dude, you are struggling with one of the main conflicts we have to resolve to fully mature as humans: namely control. I want - why can't I have? Hmmmmm. Metaphysics aside (some very thought-provoking responses above) this control thing resolves in either learning to let objects and other people have their independent existence (respect) or insisting that the world bend to our will (infantilism with muscles - Josef Stalin). Most of us have incomplete resolution, with the result that sometimes we respect (leave well enough alone) and sometimes we try to bend/take/manipulate things/people/situations to get our way.
The short of it is, your wish is an expression of where you are with this control thing. You will be a much better boyfriend/partner/dad the more you learn to let people alone, respecting their freedom & self-determination instead of trying to make them do what you want them to do.

I suggest that you go to a place outside where you can meditate on it for three days. then you will have lost 10 lbs., have a tan, and maybe even a clear head. then you will be irresistable.
