Is this supposed to happen? Even if you're among strangers? Or just if you're with someone special?

Thanks in advance.

If strangers are willing, I'd do it.

yes, you are supposed to kiss someone. However if there is no one appropriate to kiss you can just hug a friend. That's what we do every year. Some people don't always have a bf or gf on new years so they don't have anyone to kiss :(. But you always have your friends. :)

you don't HAVE to. it would be really weird to kiss a stranger. maybe that special someone or a friend. whichever you're comfortable with.

Don't get hung up on 'supposed to'. Do what you feel like.
