Hair and nails are made of dead protein material. So upping your intake of proteins will help both your nails and hair grow faster.

Try eating more fish and chicken for the protein. A good steak helps, also. Yogurt is high in protein and and calcium and helps the good flora in your intestines. Fresh spinach salads with honey-mustard dressing and real bacon bits does a lot for nails and hair. Spinach contains absorb-able calcium, bacon bits - more protein.

Massaging the nail cuticles with almond or grape seed oil helps increase the circulation around the nails and helps with growth of the nail. Don't forget behind the nail, too, it helps the nail to grow a little more evenly

Stay away from foods containing trans-fats as they slow down digestion and elimination. Your hair and nails grow because the body is eliminating the excess protein from your body.

Don't dry out your nails by using nail polish remover (real bad news) and use rubber gloves for the dishes and cleaning around the house. Protecting what is already there is important.

You can try prenatal vitamins, but you wanted "natural" ways. Vitamins are natural, it's just they are more concentrated than eating all that food. Just read the labels, though. Some of those "vitamins" are synthetic.

Good luck hope this all helps.
