Christ was not born on December 25th. he was born in spring. the Romans changed the celebration to a winter holiday so it would more coinside with other religions celebrations. just Catholicism trying to become appealing to other religions (like the Christmas tree, Easter eggs and other traditions derived from Egyptian, Asian and pagan traditions). Christmas is actually mainly a Christain play on the PAgan winter solctice celebration. And it is now proven that he was actually born in 6 C.E. (approximately) not 0, due to miss calculations and the different calendar systems adapted since that time. Lots of people believe he was born in March, April or May and some believe he was born in September. Although it is difficult to know since we no longer have any truly reliable sources, it seems. I think that there is only one religion (to my knowledge, which is somewhat limited to the few reliogions i have studied and/or been emmersed into) which has put a date to it. I think it is Mormonism and April 6th, but I'm not sure. Just a passing rumor, but a bit more than if you know what i mean.

And most biblical scholars agree that this is indeed not his birthday. He was probably born in the summer or early fall. December 25th was chosen by the Catholic Church in an attempt to pre-empt the Pagan Winter Solstice celebration. This way, the "faithful" could celebrate with falling prey to the wicked ways of the Pagans. So much of the Christian calendar has been set with politics in mind, the conversion of the unchurched so much the priority.

That's because it isn't. Which I will explain. First though, the bible gives no details of Christ's appearance, nor other important issues like that. The reason being, because no one is to worship Christ above God. That said, Christ's real birthday is actually September 11th 3BC by our calender. He was a lamb of the firstling and born in the east. He was born on Tishri 1 which is our 11th September. Just as the first Adam was created and came alive on Tishri 1, the first day of the ancient Hebrew calender. 3BC due to a miscalculation on the part of our modern calenders when converted from the Hebrew ones.
This makes the Sept 11th disaster even more evil when we consider this spiritually. But we do not blame the islamic people for this. They are human. We blame the devil and his devil spirits that entered the minds of those men and caused them to commit mass murder in this way. THEY are the evil ones. The islamic people are not. I should also point out that I am a son of God. What the western world calls Christian. I have Christ in.

You're right.
Many people have many different guesses as to when Jesus was really born. The best argument I've heard so far is for September 29, 5 B.C.E.

The link also explains briefly about why his birth is celebrated when it is. It was modeled after a rival Pagan holiday around the 300s C.E. in Rome. Other "Christian" holidays were also created in the same fashion, including the Catholic conjunction of it's three October/November celebrations (All Hallow's Eve, All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day), and even Easter.

He wasn't.
They just had it on National Geographic TV.
Jesus was born on April 17th, 6 years earlier then they
calculated.
December 25th was proclaimed his date of 'celebration' after the pope made it a day of recognition after the French celebrated St. Nicholas' goodness to children during the month of December. The pope thought it would be good to hook the dates together for the celebration of 'giving'.

He wasn't. It is presumed by scholars that He was actually born sometime in the Spring. Our Christmas was originally the Pagan Yule?Winter Solstice, the time of year that Pagans celebrate the re-birth of the sun. It seems an appropriate time to me to also celebrate the birth of the Son.

He was born during feast of Tabernacles, late sept or early oct
Mary was visited by angel when Elizabeth was 6 months pregnant. SHe gave birth to John the Baptist at Passover. 6 months after that Mary would be 9 months along...right in the feast of Tabernacles, a celebration of JOY!!
Explains why all the rooms at the inn were full, if you know about Sukkot.

His birth is celebrated at this time, near the winter solstice/equinox, because it was a Pagan holiday celebrating the return of the sun and Light into our lives. Therefore Christians adopted it as a good date for celebrating the coming of the Light, Jesus.

We don't. We know now he was born sometime in the spring or summer, but NOT the winter. The day was chosen, as many have pointed out, to stamp out the Pagan rituals. The Christmas holiday we know didn't form until the 1800's, and it was the commercialization of it that made it popular and made it become more popular with the church.
