the kind that never stops. it doesn't matter so much as to the source of the heartbreak quite as much as if it is a one time blow, or an ongoing, deepening, hurt that continues to gain power within ur heart breaking it down more and more each day. THAT to me is the worst, when u know its never going to stop, and u have to endure new pain everyday. and when u think u cant take one bit more another heartbreak comes. and u knew it would. it always does.
having to face a new day, knowing it will only bring more heartache and pain...to me that is true heartbreak of the worst torturous kind.
hope u or no one has to go thru this especially at Christmas but it is a part of many people's lives unfortunately.
counting my blessings..... hope we all do!

It's a toss - up The death of a loved on , or a cheating spouse .. I can think of a few others, but you did say worst ..
Hope your don't have a broken heart !! It can be a terrible time in ones life.. Especially during the holiday season ...

The worst form I've ever been unfortunate enough to experience was being lied to continually by a man I thought loved me. Then finding out from another woman that she was pregnant with his baby.

To find out that not only did your boyfriend cheat on you, he got another girl pregnant, and she had to get an abortion. So even though you want to beat the crap out of him, you can't because he's so depressed over the baby. You can get over things easier when you can be mad at the person hurting you.
-This may not be the worst, but it's pretty high on the list.

When little children get it. Like-
The parents don't have enough money so Santa doesn't come.
They don't understand passing of a parent, sibling, grandparent...
And stuff like that.
