ok... we have (uniforms) sorta kinda its a polo then we can wear bllue jeans
should i wear expensive jeans and purses that way i can show myself off because at my old school me n my friends had the coolest most expensive clothes n stuff
so ya plz help me n if u go to a private school and are in any where from 9-12 grade im me

If you want to, than go for it. But having expensive things shouldn't be the most important thing. Just be yourself. I know it's corny, but it's true. If you want to look cute in a uniform, I remember reading in Seventeen magazine or some other girly magazine... Accessorize with jewelry, if your school permits it. Wear cute bracelets/bangles... a cute tank top underneath that shows with your polo shirt on...

You should wear what you feel comfortable in as long as it is within the guidelines of the school. I can understand how you dress and what people think about you is important but what really counts is who you really are inside. If you have to pretend to be something that you are not then they won't be your friends for very long and you would become very unhappy.

When people say just be youself and that you dont have to stand out, its true, but in reality its not. Most people are going to judge you on what you look like as a first impression. So if you feel looking good is what will matter most, go for it

i agree with the above person, your attitude will set you apart. but also buy a nice necklace, do your hair nice and creative, earrings, get a cute little belt to wear with your jeans, and different shoe laces. little things count. and a cute purse would be a nice touch too!

okay reason 1 to have uniforms. you will not stand out most likely just be yourself not your clothes you will go farther in life with that attitude.

yess show off ur individual style as much as possible. thats what i do at my school and im 14. i wear disigners stuff all the time
