That is sure what I am reading on here. Come on people, you are the most closed minded group of people I have ever seen. But, this isn't my place to rant it is yours. I am only 17, mold me to be an intollerant pawn of whichever side you wish. In fact, lets make it a race, the first side to make me hate the other for no apparant reason wins. 1, 2, 3, GO!

There are people on both the right and left ends of the political spectrum who demonize anyone who is farther toward the center than they are. These are the ones who utter most of the ridiculous things that the media love to pick up on (or in some cases, are actually members of the media). The vast majority of people are neither unintelligent nor evil, but can only base their opinions on what they read or hear. Thus with the media continuing to throw out the extreme views of one side or the other, any reasonable person in the middle ends up being disgusted by both sides. So I guess the bottom line is, don't hate one side or the other, hate both, but for the reason that they are both attempting to get you to hate the other with no rational basis.

That's a terrible generalization. I think you see what you see when you're reading answers because a lot of people are not really informed on the issues; however, no one runs out of things to say to bash the other party. Additionally, so many of the questions are loaded that they only receive loaded answers. People mistake the politics section for the partisan politics section. Politics is about working towards a common goal instead of ranting about another party.

No one group of people is all anything. If you are looking to be molded, then you are best off to ignore the post that insult others and for the rest of the post I would do some research to find out just how factual they are or not before you believe them.

Be glad to straighten you out. First of all, Conservatives are evil and Liberals are intelligent. Conservatives hate just for the sheer love of hate. They love to hate. Just look at some of the names of the people in the political section. Many of the Conservatives have hate in their names. I don't want you to hate the Conservatives, I just don't want any 17 year old getting caught up in that hate.

Just keep in mind that it's easy for people to say things like "all liberals are stupid" when they aren't saying something to another human being. It's easy to be rude, arrogant and disrespectful on a computer. We all do it. So, cut us some slack, it's Christmas!

no, Conservatives are both unintelligent and evil...Liberals are everyone else and they are so diverse, they cannot agree in a major glue connecting them...How can the environmentalists agree with the women's rights, the Constitutionist, etc....For the Republicans, it's simple, they are one single cohesive group...who do you trust a single minded, selfish group or a mob, each with its own agenda...I go with the latter.

George Will and Robert Bork are very intelligent conservatives.
Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas was very liberal and is the only evil person whom I've heard of (in US of A who wasn't convicted of murder).
