How do you feel about yourself when you are around them? If it's good then they are to you most likely. If you are a good person when you are around them. Do they bring out your best qualities or help you get into trouble. Push you towards what is good in life? Trustworthy and don't gossip. True friends are hard to find. To have a one you must be one.

You know your friends are good to you when they show you respect. They dont insult you unless you know they're joking. They will fight by your side for whatever reason. They'll loan you something (money) without expecting to be paid back. Theyre always there in your time of need. They're honest and trust you with thier feelings/problems.
