Because David Hyde Pierce is presumed gay, I don't think he has made it public, but he has been photographed with a male companion from time to time...And Jane Leeves has been married to Marshall Coben since 1996.

Because David Hyde Pierce is gay. He and the guy that played Bulldog on Frasier are both gay.

I think everyone covered it. However, even if he is straight, their TV relationship was scripted by writers for the characters to act out. Obsviously, they both did a good job of acting. Real life doesn't always work out so nicely.
