Why not if he got a good deal on it. It's a great investment, even if he lives in one of the rooms. All he has to do is wait a few years and he will make a lot of money when he sells it...or if he gets married someday, he already has a house to raise his family.

It was greeeat. people do it for all different reasons. investments one, sometimes people just need space. i loved it. and maybe he is planning ahead. that is a great quality in a person. possible he is looking ahead to needing more room and wants to make his roots now. nothing wrong with that one....

About every 11 years the price of a house doubles. They are great investments. Also plenty of room to grow.

It's stupid to rent if you can afford a mortgage (why throw money away when you can build equity?), but it's also stupid to buy a small home if you plan on having a family and can afford a bigger home. He knows that he'll have a wife and kids someday so he's buying it now.

To match his porshe and small junk. Or possibly for a long term investment since real estate is one of the best investments a person can make.

Is he engaged to a woman that already has children. If not I bet he's looking for the right woman and to fill it. Soon that house will be a home.
