Problem with cell phone (tracfone)?

when someone calls it says "call invalid" and even though i have them on my phone list why doesn't it show the number who's calling?

most cellphones have caller ID
its possible if your friend is calling you and your phone is asking his phone for its caller id but your friends phone could have it blocked..
(I'm assume its your friends phone that when call you
its calll invaild.,.
