I am celebrating Christmas. Christmas is about showing respect forr the birth of Christ, when the word became flesh. If you don't want to give gifts, if you choose not to put up decorations and choose to use the money you would have spent fo go to soldiers overseas - that is one thing. But the birth of the Lord is a miraculous event and should be celebrated.

I'm not celebrating x-mas in order to bring down the economy. Gonna spend my money elsewhere, traveling instead, expanding my horizons, and no, I don't mean the touristy places, like Paris or London or NYC. There's a great big wide world out there filled with diversity and cultural tolerance that mass media doesn't want you to know about. Break through the indoctrination and psychological barriers. The world awaits you.

I personally refuse to give in to the demand of the of the so called holiday season.....the concept of keeping stores in business and adding to the pockets of the rich do not entice me. How Christan's can call this the high point of religious belief astounds me. The entire concept baffles me. After Xmas I will purchase gifts for the little ones, because Santa is a wonderful concept for children, and at 7:00 am I will be at a local organization handing out hot food to our homeless, as I am every Monday morning.
