Close your eyes and think of the last time the two of you were together and how it will be next year when the two of you are together,IF it is meant to be ALSO close your eyes and look deep into your own heart, that should cheer you up. Merry Christmas

Think why you love him and write down as many as you can, then review it later and see what this love means to you.
Or you could plan your wedding, even if your are not engaged, have a warm bath or get a toy! Or do all the above...
Behave as if this is the last time you get to be by yourself and focus on you for a change, Have a merry Christmas.

Surround yourself with friends and family! Dont just cry the blues for him the entire time- SURE hold him in your heart asnd close to you BUT its still okay to have a nice time with other friends and family who love and care about you- that way you dont miss him qwuite as much! Text him a few messages and call him if u can. I remember when our son was only 2 months old and he was shipped overseas with the Army- MAN that was a horrible Christmas! I cried for him most of the week and then I realized I had my beautiful son to hold close to me and love. My family was so far away i couldnt even be with them, BUT I had my gorgoeous son so it made up for it! Be happy- think happy thoughts and think of the 2nd Christmas u will have to share just with him!

You'll just have to pick a day when you can both be there and pretend its Christmas! I have to work on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, so I do that a lot and it seems to work. Christmas is about Christ and quality time with loved ones. You'll get your quality time soon enough!

Call him and tell him how much you love him and wish him a merry christmas. Besides after chrismas there is always new years and sometimes new years can bring a hell of a suprise, anyway he might have some kind of back up plan to make you happy if he can't do it for chrismas.

I'm all by myself too. Yesterday I made cookies until 2 in the morning. That cheered me up.

Call him, tell him you love him and enjoy him when he can be there. In the mean time, don't forget to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Appreciation for the word made flesh, for the presence of the Christ child should be what we all think of first.

if you notice the advertising on television for budweiser beer i think you will realize just what a fine beverage these people produce. i suggest you go to some convenience store and fill up the trunk with several cases of bud. get it all in your fridge then settle down and get comfortable. turn on a great football game. then slam down six. then try to keep going at two per hour. watch the game until it finishes then watch the weather channel while you keep slamming it down. you won't think over lover boy.

You have to think of the good times you've had & will have don't focus on him not being able to be here tonight. Focus on what your going to do when you are together.
Merry Christmas
Hope he can be with you on NEWS YEARS EVE !
