I dont even think Walmart is open Christmas day! And NO I dont think they sghould be either! There r a few convenience stores open for emergency things but I think as many people as possible should be home with their families on this wonderful day! NOT working somewhere! So if u need anything- get it and any extas things u might run out of just in case other wise you will spend twice as much at 7 11

Restaurants, hospitals, gas stations, drug stores, and movie theaters should. Movies make a TON of money on Christmas day, they count on that business. The others should be open for necessity/ emergencies.

Keep in mind that not everyone celebrates Christmas, and don't mind working then. Also, those who do celebrate and have to work that day are usually compensated very well. Those who work Christmas day usually chose to.

No. People KNOW Christmas is coming. They should get their act together and get everything they may possibly need beforehand. It's only corporate greed - it's easy to make someone ELSE work on Christmas. If you notice, small private stores (run by Americans, that is) are closed on Christmas.

I don't think so . they need a break to be with their family's just like we do. It is bad enough having to go to the store the day after Christmas. so please give them a break. God Bless and Merry Christmas.

Well, some people are willing to sacrifice working on that day - and usually get compendated by working on a holiday. I think it would be nice if companies would allow employees to be off if they request it. I guess it's sad that some companies don't or can't give that priveledge to their employees though.

yes, what if someone needed a perscription filled out?
what if someone was diabetic and needed sugar?
what if someones kid ran out of diapers?
what if someone cut themselves and need to "doctor" it up and had to go to the store for supplies...
it is Christmas,
people can see each other everyday, why just be with family on holidays??? that is sad, what if a family memeber died and you hadn't seen them since last christmas? you should have made a way to see them more?!

no, because the people who work at those stores should have a chance to be home with their families just like the rest of us. Besides the holiday isn't about instant gratification it's the celebration of Christ's birth and it should be spent reflecting on that and spent with our loved ones, not trying to please ourselves. and besides we should learn to plan ahead and purchase everything that we need well in advance, not at the last minuet.
God Bless!!
