I agree they do a hard job, but if they weren't "famous" the wouldn't get half as much as they do. They should spread the wealth around a little. Give more to the widows, the poor, government programs that help others. I don't see why anybody needs that much money.

No, I don't think they deserve it. It can be a hard job and you lose your privacy but they all knew that would happen when they decided to get into the business. I think educators, scientists, doctors deserve to make a ton of money---their contributions save and enhance people's lives. Celebrities make us smile or laugh for an hour or two but in the grand scheme of things don't make enough of a difference to justify what they are paid.

Mixed opinions. Yes, they do entertain us, no, they are not saving peoples lives when they act (unless someones saving somone in the movie) They're not firefighters, or nurses, policemen, or anything like that. Firefighters don't earn 50 some million dollars for doing one movie. I totally disagree with actors salary's. Yes, it is hard work, but wouldn't you rather be paid big for a more important job as a firefighter?

i think they deserve it. i mean if you think about it, the actors wake up early for make-up and work all day long. they travel all year long and some have to gain weight, loose weight, bulk up. not to mention they need to act in front of the camera. i think they might be making a little bit too much but i think they deserve most of what they make

I don't think they deserve it. The people who should really be getting money close to that are firefighters, teachers, doctors, and anyone else who helps people in need.

I think they deserve it. People admire them but they got little privacy and are usually treated like dirt. Don't know if the money worth it.

I'm not a movie star so I have no idea.I do know I would never want to be one. They never know who their friends are. They don't know if someone likes them for their money or reputation. So maybe the money will help....It's just not for me..Plus I'm not one of those people that worship movie stars..I could care less.

They do nothing. I think its strange that a teacher who prepares kids for their future makes 30,000 a year and a celebrity gets paid a million dollars to wave at a crowd!!!!
