The opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. So, is it possible that these feelings of hate are REALLY feelings of hate? I know that I love him, but he really gets under my skin (okay, I didn't mean that in a dirty way) and sometimes I just want a big truck to run over him.

It's possible, but think for a second, he/she would die right now, how would you feel, usually we take everything for granted

Yes I do think it's possible to love and "hate" another person at the same time. However I do feel the word hate is a bit strong. I think those feelings of "hate" are more "dislike" for something the other person does that causes negative emotions within ourselves....in other words we love the person but don't like that particular part of their personality or character. I don't know what to say about you wanting a truck to run over him sometimes though...did he do something that bad(?)...like cheat on you or beat you? When you begin to have these feelings...just imagine what it would be like without him in your life for real....I don't think you really want harm to come to him......

Wow! Those are pretty tough words. I've hated things my husband has done but I've never wished for anything bad to happen to him. I've often heard that there is a fine line between love and hate. They are both extreme passions. I guess it's not so hard to see that the line can be crossed from time to time. I think what you are feeling is perhaps hate of his actions or of his disrespect or whatever the problem is. That doesn't mean you have to hate him. You obviously loved him enough to marry him. Talk with him and let him know you need him to make changes because his actions are making you crazy.

God bless you! Merry Christmas!

We have all felt that way one time or another the thing to do is to talk it out and work on it.We are all different and do not do all the right things all the time for one another. And man a big truck just think if that happened whenever you were not mad he would definatly not be there.

There is a fine line between love and hate....sometimes hard to distinguish which you're feeling at the moment. I think right now you're just frustrated with him. Tomorrow it will be back to "business as usual". Good Luck!!

They say that you can't hate anyone unless you have ever loved him. It's a thin line between love and hate and it's very easy to cross that line.

Yes. It is commonly referred to as marriage. It is normal and will fade with time. Just hang in there and both of you need to compromise. I know I know, the "C" word, COMPROMISE. My wife hates that word too. Good luck.

absolutly, relationships are about tolerance. And sometimes you just can't tolerate your signifigant. But then there's something that brings the two of you back then it's all good.
