Eventually, instability caused the compressed matter to explode.

The Creator made the rules, anyway.

First we thought that the earth was the centre of the universe....then we found out there are other planets and that we are only one of the smaller ones that revolve around the sun. We made the sun the centre of the universe. Then we found that the sun is just one average yellow star located on the outer rims of the milky way galaxy. We then found out that the milky wa itself is an average spiral galaxy located in the (i think, pegasus) cluster. The cluster is one of many that make up the universe.

And each of this turning point has produced cultures and religions, cause we try and relate it to some higher being.

I won't be surprised if some century or so down the line we discover that the big bang like phenomenon are themselves not exclusive. I hope you get the drift.

There was no "Bing Bang" as it is spoken of in the scientific community. Even that theory is falling into disfavor because it just make sense, scientifically. One of the JPL astro-physicists was giving a lecture at my astronomy club a few years ago, and spoke of the Stars red shift, or dopplar effect that is evident when started are speeding apart. According to his calculations, there was a point in time when it expoded into being, but everywhere at once, and not from a single point in the universe. Creation is the only thing that makes sense. This from a supposed Athiest scientist.

It's a 50/50 proposition. Either it banged on it's own or it didn't. I don't care what Richard Dawkins says, the chances that there was a reason for it are just as good as the chances that there was no reason for it.

Sometimes these questions overwhelm me.
I would say it banged by itself! [Bung?]
