Look up on your menu bar, click Tools, Internet Options, and under the History section, click Clear History. There will be a whole bunch of tabs listed when you open Internet Options, but History is under the "General" tab, which is the only tab displayed at the time. So don't go changing tabs or you'll get confused.

In Firefox, go to the Tools menu > Clear Private Data and check "Saved form and search history" and click "Clear private data now".

In IE 7, go to Tools > Delete browsing history > Form data.

Hope this helps.
