"God helps he who helps himself."

There's a modern-day parable about this. A very pious Christian was in an area that was being flooded, and everyone was being evacuated. The water grew so high that the man had to sit on his roof!

A boat came near and called him to come on board and be rescued. The man refused, saying only "God will save me."

Another boat arrived, and the man again refused rescue, saying "God will save me."

A third time a boat arrived. This time, the water was nearly up to the man's waist, but he still refused, saying "God will save me."

An hour later, the man drowned.

He went to Heaven and came face-to-face with the Lord. "Why didn't you save me?" he cried.

"I sent you three boats!" retorted God.

...The moral of the story is that waiting for a miracle is arrogant. God works through small ways, through invisible ways. You have a covenant with God - that means you both owe each other, not that He owes you and you can relax.

Hopefully you'll find a mate, but I don't know when or how that will happen. Part of it depends on you looking and putting some effort into your relationships! Good luck!

Patience is a good virture to have and it's also one of the fruits of the Spirit. What you need now is patience and complete faith in God that He will send you a help mate. Only God knows when the time is right to bring you and your mate together. So don't try and rush Him, you'll only mess things up. If your ex was the one God sent to you as a mate, she wouldn't be your ex and you wouldn't be asking this question. Give Him a chance to continue working on you. Love and serve God with all your heart, soul, and might. Put God first in everything you do. Talking to girls will not get you a mate. It might get you a girlfriend with a relationship that will not last. So, when you talk to girls, let it be for conversation only and not because you're looking for a mate. Join a church and get involved in ministry work. Also, Try volunteering and getting involved with positive things. It'll help take your mind off a mate and you can let God do his work in your life. Just be patient.

I want the same thing in life , but you do have to have complete faith that God will present one to you and you will know because she will be in your heart and part of your soul. You will feel incomplete when you are not around each other and you will know because you would do anything in your power for them and pray for them when you need God in control. IF the woman you broke up with is the ONE, she will return and work things out. God bless you and good luck.

Yes! you will get a mate one day though you may have to do some work. Continue to work on the idea of getting a partner and it may just work for the new year

God will not send you a mate but he will show you the right one and your one true girl.
