You should ask yourself what you would use more of? Talking/texting on the phone or listening to music. Although, there are cells phones that have built in mp3 players in it, so you can lean towards the cell phone. Also, you want to make sure if you want to spend monthly bills on your cell phone (unless you already have a cell phone and want to upgrade). On the other hand, you can use your ipod for not only listening to music, but use it as a portable hard drive too.

well I have both but I would get the cell phone it can be used more..but u could get the cell phone with the mp3 player with it

Cell phone because if the phone has a memory card slot, it can also be your music player. ipod can't do anything else but play music.

Better go for a phone (nokia n73,n70,sony eric k790i) than an ipod.
Ipod really sucks.With phones u can play wide range of formats.
U get a cam & u can use it as a phone.
