A student exchange program is where a school student, typically high school, spends either a summer, semester or year with another family in a different country. A program sometimes includes college students or adults. Depending on the program, you may or may not have to know the language.

An exchange program lets you trade items, barter services & swap real estate. It should be free like Care to Trade (www.caretotrade.com) or Craig's List.
