you can actually buy a USB conversion adapter to use with actual ps1, ps2, n64, xbox controllers(different adapters for each except some do ps1 and ps2 controllers.) So if you really liked the playstation controller try getting one of these. To see the adapters and buy one go to E-Bay and search 'ps1 controller adapter' they are roughly 10 bucks. Once you buy it all you need is a playstation controller and your good to go

Yes there is a blueish PS2 shaped controller for the PC. I own one. Its about $35.
Not all PC games can use controllers. Infact out of like 50 games I own for the PC only like 4 or 5 can use this controller. But that might be the type of games I am buying. Lots of sport games will let you use controllers and lots of shooting games. I mostly use the controller for roms.
Here is the one I use I know 4 others that use it and it rocks. I see lots of these same exact controllers at wal-mart , staples and other places like that.

You cannot see in the picture but it has 4 shoulder buttons L1,L2 and R1 and R2 and its analogs can be pressed so it supports R3 and L3.

This depends on your knowledge of emulation and how to copy ROM images. I would say Nintendo DS, its resonably priced around $150. Sony PSP is a joke unless you hack it. The games are below average at best, and everything requires a disc which get scratched easily over time. DS uses cartridges. Because its Nintendo you can trust that the quality of the games in terms of story, sound, and gameplay are top notch. Plus you have alot of classics such as Mario, Legend of Zelda, and Metroid. It is even compatible to run old GBA games if you still have any. Plus if you get into emulation you can buy a 2G Mini SD and a device called a SuperCard and start getting your own games( This is where the major savings comes in...)

Yes, you can get one in virtually any console/pc game shop or electrical store. You could also try Amazon or Ebay.
I bought one from a console games shop. i thought it wouldn't be any good, because it was a cheaper brand, but it did the job well.
