I'm married to a muslim man. We have 1 son together and my personal experience is great. I couldn't have asked for a better husband I don't think it depends on the religion it really depends on the person cause he comes from a great family who by the way didn't care I was Christian or American. They accepted me from the beginning. My husband has also never payed a hand on me and is very understanding. My ex on the other hand was a SOB he was Hispanic and an as awhile who would beat the **** out of me. So yeah it really maters on then person not religion. One thing though muslim family are very very very close to they're families regardless of how old they are. So you have to keep that in mind that the family will always play an important role in they're life's

depends on just how deep in the muslim faith her musband is.
someone who is quite raddical about their beliefs will see
to it that his wife wears islamic apparel, the face is covered, the woman is under absolute control of the man
and can make little or no decisions without his approval.
if u don't mind the ultimate in male dominance then this
particular arrangement is for u.
now let me say that not all muslim relationships are like
this, but some of the more extreme are.

My aunt married a Muslim, once they were married he became a complete jerk. Wouldn't let her visit with family, wouldn't let her communicate with her friends.
Made her start wearing a scarf over her beautiful face one of those gherka type things. She had no free agency. No freedom to do anything but care for this muslim peice of sh*t!
He even forced her to have anal sex, where he was very brutal.
After about 6 months of no contact, my uncle's, (aunt's brother's) my dad leading the charge, finally got a bit fed up with this isolation from family and went to talk to my aunt. When they arrived and knocked on the door, my aunt's husband answered the door and stepped outside onto the porch and asked what they wanted.
My dad said i want to talk to your wife and right now or i'm going to beat your sorry *** into the freaking ground.
The jerk said i can't allow her to do this. She is my wife and I alone will decide when i want her talk to her family. With that said.
My dad grabbed my aunt's husband with one of his large hands around the throat and picked him up and threw him off the porch, and went inside the house to see my aunt.
My other uncles, proceeded to hold my aunt's husband firmly on the ground.
My dad came out of the house minutes later came over to his truck opened a tool box, and removed a pair of bolt cutters, went back inside the house and cut the lock to a chain that was attached to a harness around my aunts ankle.
She had been tied up with this for alongtime. My dad then came out of the house with my aunt, and she told her sand ****** husband that she's getting a divorce and do not contact her.
She then kicked him between his legs and he pissed all over himself and screamed i'll kill you biatch, I'll kill you all.
This jerk fought the divorce and lost. He hasn't been around since.
My aunt is very happy now, having returned to a normal life style and denounces everything about the muslim religion and people who belong to it.

My cousin. SHe died of cancer a few years ago.
He was a very kind and respectful guy while he was studying in America. once they got married, he forbade her to contact anyone in her family but her mother on her birthday. He took her to Saudi Arabia, France, and Egypt, his family has property there. Once he moved to Saudi, he took complete control, started being a jerk to everyone in our family, and forbade my cousin to visit us when she had a kid. Once my cousin died he moved to Cairo and never allowed anyone of us to see their child.
we were never mean to him, always accepted her conversion to his relgion as a par for the course when you want to marry someone of another faith..
I have heard much worse stories, but they always start out being super nice, and seemingly liberal in thier views, open to Christians'etc. once they get what they want, we became "infidels" unworthy of the company of his wife...
