Location, Location, Location. It depends on where you want to live. In the Atlanta area, the average is about $600. Of course I am including houses in the metro area with this ratio.

Depends on where. Generally in a city around $450 a month low end up to $900 per month in a fairly nice place. up to many thousands per month for a class place. This does not include NYC, LA, San Fran, San Jose, etc., etc.

In the USA I'd say the average is somewhere between $700-$1,200 Per Month. It varies greatly... higher in most instances and somewhat lower in others.

That depends upon where you're looking. On Beacon Hill in Boston, probably around $3,500 and up. In Joplin, MO, probably around $250.00 and up.
