Just wondering what everyone's opinion is.

Do animals have as much rights as humans? And if so, why do we eat them?

And also... why is it that we eat animals such as pigs and cows, but we don't eat animals like cats and dogs? (well some people do eat them, but generally, we keep cats and dogs as pets...why?)

Personally, I believe all animals have as much rights as humans, which is why I am a vegetarian/animal rights supporter.

By the way, I am not trying to condemn anyone. I just want to know everyone's opinions.

Thanks to anyone who answers this question ^_^

All animals have the right to be grilled to a medium rare temperature and smothered with butter and garlic.
