my mother found a 1919 penny that has the lib missing in liberty
its just erty. how much would that be worth.

It needs to be looked at by a coin dealer to see if it is a mint error. like grease got in the way and lib didn't get struck on to the coin. It could also have happened out side the mint and some one fooled around with it. You can send a scan of it or email a photo of it, to Answerman2@aol.com he answers questions for Numismatic news but I think he will tell you what I did. depend on who is buying it, one that old could have it worn off meaning its worth a penny but save in coin collection
