Ireland is a stronghold of SOME of the oldest remaining pagan religions in the world, to begin with, and even among the people who call themselves Catholic (especially far in the south) they are only nominally Catholic. Furthermore (though many in Ireland ARE quite Christian), there is a reason that the Catholicism that is spread throughout so much of Ireland is called "Irish Catholic" to distinguish it from "Roman Catholic." It is quite different, and VERY much blended with native traditions (since the 7th century, in fact, in some places)... much like Mexican Catholicism. To simply label all of these denominations "Christian" is really a misnomer... the old Irish paganism survives as much in Irish Catholicism as Roman Catholicism does.

A good deal of the Irish are either Protestant or Catholic which in their own interpretations of the bible makes them Christians. There are certainly people from other religions there but for the most part, there are an abundant amount of Christians in Ireland.

Nope. I know several that aren't. A couple of Wiccans, a Druid or two, and quite a few that folow Celtic religius practices. And from several sources I have heard that there is a trend toward returning to the indiginous pre-Christian Irish religion.

Ireland is very pro-Catholic country. Probably 90 to 95% Catholic. But than again, other Christian groups do not consider Catholics Christian.

The original Celtic peoples were of the Druidic faith(which did not until later include sacrifices of people) where they praised all things in nature.

No, many have become aethieist as a result of eye-opening, jaw-dropping exposure to the Catholic Church.
